Changing uploaded turn in a PBW game?

PBW allows for deletion of your current turn and uploading a new PLR file. My question: is there any way to open a PLR file on your local machine to edit it and save it again? If you were to load the game again from the GAM file then you lose all the manipulations you had done for your turn and that is exactly what I want to avoid.

Nope. However, did you know you can save your turn via the save menu? It's a good idea for longer turns to save prior to hitting end turn just in case you need to fix something etc. Doesn't help you now, but can in the future. Sticking out tongue

Ah, I had heard using the save button tended to mess up construction queues or something? In one of my games another player was asking for a restart exactly because of this. If that's incorrect then I should have tried it long ago Smiling

I haven't heard or seen any bugs with saving simultaneous turn games in a long time.

The bug still exists, at least in v.1.66. It happens sometimes probably when you repeat saving and loading your game during a single turn resulting in clearing some of construction queues. It happened to me several times while playing simultaneous games against AI. When I realized it was because of the bug I just stopped saving. I have not investigated this more thoroughly so I am not sure but I suspect that it cleares queues that were empty at the beginning of a turn.
