Description

Iwould like to have the option to start a new game with all the stars shown on the quadrant map like SEIV. I don't think it makes since that a space faring race can't tell where other stars are with out visiting them.

Curently the only way I've fount to start with the Stars shown is to select "All systems have been seen by all players" in game options before the game starts. Unfortunatly this also fills in all warp points on the quadrant map and has every system explored for all players at the start of the game. That negates any use for exploration (THE FIRST X!!) except to find the other empires.

A second option to begin the game with warp lines filled in on the Q.M. would also be nice.

Being able to see all stars and planets makes some sense, our own telescopes (and so forth) are just beginning to be able to do so. However, exploration isn't necessarily obsolete. In SE you will still need to go out there to see if there is life, ownership, fleets, facilites, etc. Warp points, being huge distortions in space and time, would be even easier to spot once you know what to look for.
