Unit construction amount

I have a few questions about your construction of units:

How many weapon platforms and satellites do you on average build on all your planets to protect them?

How many fighters do you have compared to the amount of ships?

The planets that have space yards are always constructing something but do you have your planets without space yards building units all the time?

(I play stock)

Depending on the situation, I have between 0 weapon platforms (in save systems) and as much as possible (in contested areas). They are really great to stop enemy fleets... Satellites I only have one (sensor) per colony.
The same with fighters. Sometimes (especially in stock) I will have 10* or 20* the amount of ships, sometimes (but only in BM) almost none.
Most of my (rear) plantes never construct any units, for you will never need the amount of fighters you could produce with 50+ planets and you probably could not pay for them, either...
I will produce units only in systems near the front or in some special cases.
