Can't enter cheat codes? |

Hi,
At the back of my manual it says...
To enter a cheat code, go to the main main window of the game. Type ('), then type the code text, and then type (') again to execute the code.
I've also seen mention of using ~ instead of ' on the web.
But these don't seem to work for me.
I take it the main screen is the normal game play window?
Any advice?

Why cheat? The game isn't really that hard... even on hardest. Still fun to play though!

By default cheat codes are not allowed. You have to allow them when setting up the game options.
