Patching european english version

Hi, I bought the european version, but because the german language works so bad I onl play it in english. Is it still impossible to get the newest patches with the european version, do I have to buy the US version?

(I didn't try to install the patches, because I wait with patching in case I pbw, and need to have a certain version than)

I thought Empire Interactive offered a patch for the European version of SE5?
Just go ahead and install ANY version of the Empire Interactive patch on top of the English (1.30) version, and then apply the latest official patch, currently 1.66.

The european english version can be patched with the US patch, only the other languages require European specific patches

IIRC you have to patch to EU English version 1.44 with the EI patch before you can apply US patches.

Hi, thanks for the help.
I tried to patch the game now, but itdidn't work, but I don't think it is because of the EU Version. It just tells me everytime, that my version does not match an older evrsion required by this patch. I already reinstaled the Spaceempires several times, and even treid it on another computer.
