Just follow the instructions for splicing the latest FQM into BM, and you should be good to go. Smiling

Great stuff, Fyron. I'd like to integrate this into my own personal mod. I've eliminated the tiny and small GAS GIANTS as oxymorons. So the last time I tried this in my mod, it kinda choked on those missing planets. Any helpful suggestions? (That don't require tearing apart MMP and FQM) If not possible, I guess I'll just live without it. Thanks.

Since tiny and small gas giants are bigger than all but huge rock/ice planets, I'm not sure why they are an issue. There is less usable space on the smaller ones, but so what? The size descriptors are just relative descriptions relating to usable space, not physical absolutes on planet radius. Smiling

Anyways, you can remove them by editing the python script to not generate them, and running it. Note that you have to start a completely new game/map after removing stellar objects or xfile classes (this will do both).

On line 374 of FQM/Data/scripts/stellar_object_textures.py, you can add these lines:

            if t_size == 'Tiny' || if t_size == 'Small':
             continue

so that it looks like this:

  for t_atm in p_atm:
    for t_type in p_types:
      for t_class in p_classes[t_type]:
        for t_size in p_sizes:
          if t_type == 'Gas':
            if t_size == 'Tiny' or t_size == 'Small':
             continue
            
            for t_color in p_atm_colors[t_atm]:

Alternatively, download this replacement script. I've added in a toggle at the top to turn tiny/small GGs on and off. I will leave it in for future versions of the mod (set False naturally). You'll want to extract it into FQM/Data/scripts.

(edit: Uuummm, it seems that the mod has changed quite a bit from the last time I used it. My bad. Plus I've finally figured a way to get MY empire to load and run correctly on a quick start game. It's tedious but it works.) I'm enjoying an unmodified FQM game immensely. Thanks again, Fyron et al.
