Key does not work

I bought the game a week ago on download. It started to gitch so I reloaded it. Now it will not accept the key. I get

"We're Sorry. If you are seeing this screen the automatic product activation system failed and the game will have to be activated manually"

Then I get "The key does not appear to be valid"

Yes, I unloaded and loaded several times even going through the registery to make sure everything was erased.

Yes it did accept the key the first time.

Yes I emailed tech support yesterday.

I am not angry at the problem. I am not angry at not getting a answer today. I am not angry at the extra antipiracy programing. What I am angry at is that you did not tell me you added a extra layer of antipiracy software to the download version till after I bought it. You had every right to add it but were wrong to not tell me. You obviously felt, correctly, that I would not download it. Things alway go wrong in extra levels that need checking back in and wise people avoid headaches by avoiding them. Mainly I am angry at myself for not listening to that little voice that said CD's always work I'll bet I'll have a problem with the download version. I would have listened to that voice if I had been told about the extra layer of programing.

You were wrong to not tell. If you had and I chose to download I would not be angry as it would have been a informed decision.

Well I down loaded the game again and now it works. When I first activated it the words "retrieving key" were what I thought I saw. This does not look good for the future. This means I won't be able to reload the game when I quit spending $40 a month for DSL. So if I want to be sure to be able to run the game I have to buy a CD set for when I get tired of spending money on the internet. You should have had a informed decision statement before the download. I say again you are not wrong to have this function just to not tell me before I made my choice.
