Hi, How would I remove points from a empire by the event script. I find a way to get the amount produce by the empire. And wanted to remove a set amount of points from the general pool.

There's an intel project that does it. You could base your event on that.

I commonly play "No Intel" games. Would that still work? Smiling

Yes, it could be run through the events script instead. That script is executed at the end of every turn.

I've looked at your idea and looks like that its the only way to do it, but using the event script instead. To do what I want I going to have to get the total number of pts first. Then get the techs being currently research and the total number of them. and lastly divide the tech pts by the total number of tech and remove that amount from each tech being research. Its more complex then it should be, but Oh well. But thanks for the help I miss the intel proj.
