Misplaced planet pictures on selfcreated Maps

Submitted by scells on Sun, 2008-01-13 18:49. SE:V MODs

Hi

I created severall maps with SE5MapCreatorMC and GenesisSE5. No errors occured by creating or compiling with the Map Compiler provided by SE5. It is possible to start a game with the created maps, but all images from stellar objects (stars, planets, storms, warp points) are concentrated in one place. The stellar objects itself are on the correct position, only the images are in the wrong place.

I am using SEV 1.66 and no mods at the moment.

Every help is welcome

Scells

Ps.: The randomly generated maps from SEV work perfectly, only the manually generated by the Map Compiler make problems.

I had a similar problem. The maps created in the game worked perfectly, but the ones from the editor did not. I read in a post (about Genesis) that the problems were caused because the settings in my computer were not "English - US". If that is true for you, try to change it to English - US. Otherwise, I have no idea what is going on.
