Sound Effect Mod for SE V (v1.00)

You can also simply create the project and link to the file externally.

16mb. I tried 2-3 times to create a project, then uploading the file via the attachment process. Each time it took over 12-15 minutes, then just showed a crash screen. Then I tried to create a project with no attachment (simply a link as I did here) when I submitted it did nothing. After a while I got another error as well (white screen and HTTP not found thingy).

afaik (assuming I can recall my conversations with Sysop correctly), attachments can be no more than 5mb in size.
The other errors could be related to load I suppose, their backend is rather strained at the moment.

FYI, I added a quick update to clean-up a few items, see the original thread referenced above for more info. Changes were:

v1.01 (10/19/06)
+ Changed warp exit sound
+ Changed end turn sound
+ Restored warp sound "Effect Instances" to "1" to help with the warp loudness bug
+ Added "Mod Conflict Analysis" to readme file

Didn't Work

Your mod didn't work for me -- every tiem I tried to click "new game" it went cablie with an error point at something along the lines of "D:\myvb\" and then a buncha stuff htat looked like an install path. Dunno how, but I think its locked in to "your" install path for something.

Sorry to hear that you are having trouble. It's setup to work with anyone's install path since the only folders I used are those that should be in the default. In other words, when you unzipped it, did you choose the "use folders" option? and did you select as the target "XX:\Name of SE5 folder"?

I dragged and dropped the folders into the SEV folder.
