Adding mods to SEV dowloaded from STEAM |
Greetings,
I purchased SEV from STEAM and it downloaded the STEAM client onto my computer so I can play the game...
The thing is I can't seem to find the SEV game folder (with the entire game in it) to apply any mods. STEAM has a file for SEV in it but it's not the entire game.
I did a game back up but STEAM made a weird file that I can't open to install the game onto my hard drive.
Anybody got any idea on if I can put mods into the STEAM version of this game?

There is a folder in STEAM for SEV but it isn't the entire game. it's like a link for steam to start the game from another location online.
Do you know how to add mods to steam games?
I sure can't figure it out.

If its a standard steam install, the files will be found in:
Program file
Steam
Steamapps
common
spaceempiresv
SE5

You can install mods in the Steam version, and there should be a SE5 folder under wherever Steam installs game files.
