Should I be seeing organic ship hulls when I start with organic tech? |

I see organic shells for mines, fighters, troops, satelites and weapon platforms. I see organic ship hulls when an AI uses organic. I am using Balance Mod, could that be the problem?

Try scrolling down your list of available hulls, there listed towards the end.

who cares? organic hulls are so similiar to standard hulss that they make absolutely no difference in the game at all. The only place they are of any value are on troops and fighters, and then only because they allow you to build units a little faster.

They do, however, matter in Balance Mod.

You need to research Organic Tech before you get organic hulls - simply choosing the organic trait isn't enough.
