Neutral pack 1.20. Now adds four new neutral races

A new version of the neutral pack is available.

This addon adds four new neutral races to your games of SEV, if you don't play with neutrals, it gives four more race portraits to choose from. I tried to draw them in the same style as the SEV races, and tried to make them look alien, there are far too many humanoids out there already.

The mod itself is downloadable from
download Neutral Pack 1.20
This version is compatible with stock games, unnamed mod games, and FQM games or a combination thereoff, if you want to play the mod using a different version you'll need to download the mod compatibility addon:

This addon is needed to play any other mod, it should work with any mod that has a working default AI. Sadly, custom speech files break compatibility and they have been removed from this version.

Installation instructions:
- Neutral pack 1.20 (for Stock FQM or unnamed mod):
Extract the file into the \empires folder of your space empires V folder, or if you're playing FQM or unnamed mod , into the \empires folder of that mod.

- The Mod compatibility addon:
Make sure that you have extracted a copy of the Neutral pack 1.20 into the \empires directory of your space empires V folder the addon will not work without it!
Extract the mod compatibility addon into the \empires directory of the mod that you want to play. It should work now.

Here's the changelog since the last version:
Version 1.20
- Note : The neutral pack is now only compatible with Stock games, unnamed's AI mod and FQM or a combination of those gametypes. Downloading a mod compatibility add-on is required for other mods.
- Added the Hoverwort neutral race
- Added a custom speech file for the neutral pack races.
