Balanced Mod v1.12 with FQM or Unnamed v1.08 with FQM problem |
Have installed both of these Intel mods with the FQM Beta 12. In both cases the Autocomplete button during ship design will not do a thing. Anyone else with this problem?
Works fine with just stock or FQM, but add either of the Intel mods and it stops working.

It sounds like you've overwritten or don't have the components.bmp in the Balance Mod\Pictures\Components folder.

The Unnamed AIs use custom types and names (such as unit hunters and archers) that are not listed as options in the ship design screen. Therefore the autocomplete button is basically dead for my mod. If you want the AI to make ship designs for you, you could try turning on the appropriate minister. I should note that my scripts were designed for AI use and never really considered for human use. So I cant promise good working ministers or things happening as you would intend.

Ok. Have tried to play both of these several times. Now when I try, the Autocomplete works. Haven't changed a thing, just started working. However....
With Balanced Mod, some of the various tech components do not have an associated picture. I.E. Heavy Armor. Has no picture next to it. When you install it of course the slot it is installed to is blank because of the lack of a graphic. It will show you armor is there when you hover the cursor over that slot on the ship, but is hard to tell otherwise.
Not a clue whey the Autocomplete just decided to start working. But I think I will just go back to the basic FQM and not deal with any of the other Intel or other mods for the moment. Can't really tell at this point if the game is buggy, the mod is buggy, or it is a combo job.
