Looking for way to determine if two players have specific treaty element

Submitted by unnamed on Wed, 2007-12-19 19:48. SE:V MODs

Hey Everyone,

I need some help. I'm looking for a way to determine if two empires have a specific treaty element in place. Specifically I need to know if there is a non-aggression treaty between the players and what version of the non-aggression (share colonization, freedom of movement, or no fighting in neutral space). Help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

There's nothing available at the moment unless you consider storing the elements in the AI's memory when the treaty is accepted.

Hey Kwok,

Thats what my research had suggested ..... just hoping I had missed something.

Do you happen to know if Aaron has any plans in the foreseeable future to add a function for this?

Either way, thanks.

I can see a function being added to return all the elements of a treaty between two empires in a future patch.

Word of caution on the AI storage system, I found it has limitations: you can't use player ID or elementary variables (the place settings in the function) over 9 and 0 is not allowed either. So it really doesn't leave much 'space' to work with.

Better to get a function to deal with it directly...
