1 year later have the bugs been fixed?

I bought SEV a year ago, but unfortunately due to the numerous bugs quit playing it and moved on to other games; however, I kept the game in belief that with enough time & patches it would be one of the best Space 4x games.

1) Drones were badly bugged, what about now?
2) Fighters were badly bugged, what about now?
3) Crystal armor was broken, what about now?
4) Organic armor was broken, what about now?
5) There were bugs pertaining to Shields (ie such as dmg not being properly applied to the shild vs bypassing the shields)?
6) Are there still any critical (seriously annoying, but not show stopper) bugs?
7) Are there still any "show stopper" bugs?

I plan on using BM; hence, if those things are still broken in stock, but not BM, please let me know as I've heard good things about BM.

I will try to answer those. I may be wrong on some of the answers though.

In stock w/unnamed AI
1- Early game drones still don't have warheads; I didn't play any new games with 1.58+ patch.
2- Fixed, while powerful in #s, you need at least 4 to 1 number's advantage
3- Fixed
4- Fixed-- Both armor issues fixed very early 1.25 IIRC.
5- Fixed
6- The biggest issue is the launching and retrieving units. The game will not crash but it will slow down/ freeze for 5 secs or so. Another issue is that you can't retrofit fleets. I think that is going to be fixed in the next patch.
7- slow Ai turn processing. But the game is very stable and definatley "production" ready. It was at that stage even in 1.4x. It is a very good game now. It is well woth your time to check it out.

In BM
1- I am pretty sure it has been fixed. With no retreats, there no useless endless chasing battles.
2- Fixed very balanced now.

6- see above
7- None, just slow turn proccing with Large quadrant/high AIs. Please read what I said above.
