Auto launch fighters?

My second question, hopefully very simple.

I'd like to have newly built fighters reside in planet cargo where they will be out of the active ship queue, and otherwise out of the way.

But I would also like them to launch automatically and immediately in defense of the planet.

My one experience so far was a planet with 4 or 5 fighters that didn't launch them - leading to the destruction of the colony (and the fighters too!).

Is there something easy I can do here?

Satellites with weaponry on them fall into a similar category for me. I'd like to either have them all automatically launch when they get built (these satellites that is), or have them auto-launch when the bad guys come calling. Either is fine - I just don't want to have to visit every planet where I build these things each turn to launch each one individually.

Keep in mind I'm using the 1.25 Demo in case it matters.

Units post demo launch automatically from planets during combat.

Units don't auto-launch in the demo?
It's been some time since I played the demo, and I usually never had such situations pop up. But then again, I usually have sats and ships at warp points, so ships never really got to attack my planets or carriers back in the demo.

Didn't the demo have the option to manually launch units during tactical combat?

For satellites, I would just manually launch them when possible, or simply load them on a ship with satellite bays and deploy them at a warp point or new colony. It's a minor hassle to do such micromanagement all the time, but then again, it's a major hassle to have to recapture or recolonize a colony that got wasted by an enemy attack.

Good idea is make some freighter/sat launcher that circles around colonies in system, gathers satelites and launches them at WP (or at this planet.
Eg. load remotely from planet A, launch remotely over planet A, load remotely from B .... and make it cycle orders. Then you have some kind of autolaunch (good if planets can store only few years production, so not launching them is wasting build queue time).
