Warp Button in Tactical Mode not Functional.

Does anyone have a functional warp button to run a blockade of a warp point? Do I need to research something to activate it?

Do you mean "run from/through a blockade at a warp point - i.e. exiting through the warp point"?

If I have a ship that enters a sector with enemy ships and a warp point, I want to use the warp point before they destroy me. There is a button in the bottom right corner of the tactical buttons that has a use warp point botton on it... but for me it is always grayed out which means I do not have the abilities to use the warp point in Battle. It is like the Capture Ship Button... If I Don't have Boarding Parties... my Capture Ship Button is grayed out. My Use Warp Point Button has never been active... Why?

Incidentally, wasn't it a design point that you couldn't run back into the warp point you emerge from until 30 seconds into combat? Ok right now you can't go back at all, but I think it still makes sense to limit it to "can't run back until you've been out there 30 seconds" - warp points are meant to be difficult chokepoints.

Though yes, best would be to add this as another field in Settings.txt

I recall the strategies had retreat options regarding warp point crossing. Are those implemented? Can they be used to stop ships continuing to warp in, if you have for example 5 ships and they have 200 guarding the warp point?

It would be great to be able to retreat back through a warp point instead of retreating into a hostile sector then having to fight your way back (at long odds since you had to retreat in the first place).

The delay to warp back out of combat is allready implemented in settings.txt, just not implementing in game.

I think what he's saying is blockade running a warp point....if u need to get, say a supply ship thru to a fleet in another system, and the warp point is blocked by say 5 ships at the begining warp point, not the ending warp point, he wants to know why he cant becuase his button is never active. So basically he wants to move into an occupied warp point from a non warp point hex, avoid the enemy ships already there, and go thru the warp point thats on that particular tatical map.
