Random structure abilities...

When I have some spare time (HA!) I need to run an experiment. However, if anyone knows the answer to this already, just shout it out.

If I give the abilities on a facility a formula that incorporates random number generation, then when is that number generated?

- Every game (value is set at the start of game and doesn't change for the rest of that game)

- Every structure build (value is set when structure is built, and doesn't change for the life of that structure)

- Every turn (value is set at the beginning of the turn, and doesn't change until the next turn is processed)

- Every examine (value is set every time you look at the thing)

Anyone know, off hand, which one it is?

OK, just tested random in the facility file using SY min. rate. It changed every time I open the const. list and the plant Queue list. Also I tested the random in comp file as well. I adjusted the tonnage on the ion engine. It changed every time I placed one on a ship and anytime the info was accessed by the game. Hope this helps.

I was hoping it would change every time the structure was constructed. Oh well, no worries.
