Does anyone know where I can find a current version of the Unnamed Mod? The one I downloaded from here doesn't seem to work with version 1.58 (or I am doing something wrong with it). Also, can anyone help me with doing some basic modding myself, or perhaps someone can write a mod or two based on my ideas? One thing I want to do is design my own ship set for my empire/race. I have the designs in my head, but have never really done that sort of thing on a computer. Anyone who can help please send me a message or post a reply, thanks.

as for modding yourself? just start tinkering.
i copied the DATA folder from the main SE dir. to a dir. in GAMETYPES of my own choosing and started changing numbers. sometimes the game crashed.. sometimes it didn't 
the wiki has lots of information and editors as well. just make sure you back up your original files.

Unnamed's AI Mod hasn't been updated in a while. Its pretty much just Balance Mod AI converted to stock, with a few tweaks, anyways.
The SE Wiki contains some info on modding. Hopefully people keep adding stuff to it, so it becomes as useful for SE5 as it is for SE4...
