Hi gentlemen,
After starting a game, only the warp point names are shown on the screen. That's OK for me. Now, if I click once on the "toggle names" button, all names disapear. Still OK. And if I click once more, all the names (warp points, planets, ships, etc.) are now displayed. That's too much for me, too many informations on screen makes it unreadable. Unfortunately, I can't find a way to have only warp points names displayed. How should I proceed ?

Ctrl+Q turns warp point names on and off. This is listed in the keyboard shortcuts section of the manual, along with lots of other useful stuff.

try in Empire Options --> System Display
and check what you want - if this doesn't help reload
