Crash when entering the planets screen |

I get a nice crash when entering the planets screen; the thing is that i used this feature constantly (i'm about 30 turns into a new game) but only in the recent turns i got an "access violation, cannot read memory 0x000008" or similar to this.
Anybody else got this?
