1.58 & Imported Empires |
I started a stock 1.58 game while waiting for Kwok's BM 1.10 to come out. I have noticed that the empires that I have imported (Cardassian, Hiigaran. Breen, etc.) all seem to be broken. They are all stuck on one planet and have zero for ships, bases, units and I.P. They are building research facilities and generating resources though. All of the stock empires seem normal. Has anyone else seen this yet and more importantly, does anyone know what needs to be done to the empire files to fix this?

New patch broke all custom shipsets in my game also, did a number on my mod as well. All the auto build functions are broke, thats the reason they are not building ships or units. It will take an AI update to work through the changes the patch did.

You can edit their [Race_Name]_AI_Main.txt file to point to the default AI files and they'll at least do stuff again. The latest patch made a couple of changes to AI script functions, which broke older AIs.

Still using low wattage bulbs...how do you 'point' to another location? I assume we're looking at the ones in the SEV\empires\default...but no worky after I changed the files.

Maybe they're on strike until the balance mod comes out.
