Cap'n Kwok - Thanks for that note. I wasn't able to start a BM 1.09 game and was wondering if the patch busted it. I guess you answered that. Eagerly looking for BM 1.10 . . .

Great job Aaron (and beta testers). I think with this set of fixes and enhancements the game will be far more enjoyable. Cheers!

I've crashed a couple times with 1.58. But I suspect it might be because of some modding (races)
SEV, more than a feeling.

For the approximately two people who care, the ground combat mod doesn't work with the new patch. I'm off roster tomorrow (unless I pick up some overtime) so hopefully I should get 2.11 out in a day or so.

Glad It's out, but I need an Unnamed mod update as i get a bunch of different "retreat do not leave sector", messages when setting up a game.

STILL GOT THE FLICKER ON NVIDIA
Changing the screen resolution does not work in windowed mode; it only works in full screen mode, hence the FLICKER is still present. Whatever reolution I choose in the setup screen (ie 1400x900), it still shows up as 1024.768, next to the FPS.Thats when using primary display driver or when choosing the nvidea driver.

OK, found this info in the History of Ver 1.53
3. Added - Fields "Windowed Width" and "Windowed Height" to HUDSettings.txt. These control the width and
height of the main window when running the game windowed.
Silly me thought it would be put in the settings were "normal" people would be able to access it. Then I remembered we ARE talking about SEV and who ever said we are normal 
Net result is it fixes my flicker problem and I am once more a happy SEV player, with many many sleepless nights to look forward to.

A fun game gets another patch and becomes more fun!
Now if only the lazy people at Playlogic will come out with another patch for Age of Pirates: Caribbean Tales (as if THAT will ever happen), as the latest SE V patch now makes AoP the buggiest 'fun' game I got... 
Now I just got to remember to redo my custom tweaks after I run the SE V patch so my present game doesn't take a out of control downward spiral due to a custom race I've been toying around with...

Just as an FYI, I won't be able to post the Balance Mod update (v1.10) until tomorrow evening.
v1.09 is not compatible with SE:V v1.58!
