Streamlining of feature requests and tweaks |
Has anything been discussed in the community regarding a way of streamlining the reporting of feature requests and game tweaks (not bugs) to MM? The general wisdom seems to suggest that emailing Aaron is the best course of action, but that doesn't seem efficient to me. Would it be feasible, and would there be interest, in setting up a system whereby a feature request could be added by any registered forum user, and could then subsequently be voted on (Strong/Weak Support/Oppose) by other members? In my mind I'm thinking of something like a wiki, but this isn't important.
With a master list, we could cut down on all the repetitious "wish lists", etc., that come and go. Once people stop commenting on the list, it fades from the front page, and is forgotten until someone decides to revive it. In the meantime, the same idea(s) may have been redundantly listed on other threads.
It would also be easier if MM could check a single page/site for the master list of feature requests, and immediately get a sense of how popular it is or isn't. As they are fixed, each item could be crossed off the list. As it is now, things are much less centralized, with different discussions touching on the same topic, with different responses from different people.
Any thoughts?

We did something similar during the beta. It worked out ok.
