even more noob questions |
I've got my copy ordered from play.com as amazon and a few others were all out of stock - but i'm still playing the demo and finding my way around:
some more questions to test your patience:
1. fleets: I can create a fleet that has one ship but even though I've got 5 destroyers in Rizzil I can't figure out how to combine them into a fleet
2. My alliance with the Abiddon? is going from bad to worse but I don't know why. They are now "murderous" in the empires screen but I don't know what I'm doing wrong - is it because I tried to colonise some planets in their system?
3. still getting intel reports about having my tech stolen and covertly surveyed but at least I'm being told the prob. culprit - is this down to getting my intell research up higher?
4. my alliance with the Abiddon? they have sent me loads of ship schematics but when I try to "copy" them in the design window it's a no-go - is this just for info?

Are the ships in the same sector (hex)? You can't create a fleet from ships in different sectors.
That's possible. The AI tends to get angry if you have a large (or even a small) presence in one of its systems. Also, I think empires tend to get angrier as the game goes on.
Are you playing Stock or Balance Mod? One of the recent Balance Mod updates had an intel bug. Otherwise, your only defense is to build more intelligence centers.
