Game crash |
Hello
I play french game with european version. At a moment in the game I can't change from stars systems. i can't select them on the map, the next ship button select the ships but i stay in my current system and when i try to go to next turn the game stay at the end of player 2.
This happens i think after combats because the firt game i begin fights after a very long time and the nexts more quikly.
I patch the game to 1.44 version and it is the same.
More to say that to install the game i was forced to copy the files on the hard drive because from the CD the exporer directly goes in "non responding" mode when i lauch the setup.
There is something wrong with my computer and this game so if someone has an idea of what to do it would be wonderfull

Hi there, did it crash after you added 1.44 upgrade?
IF so did you add the US 1.44 to your copy of se5.
If your using the french version you need the european upgrade 1.44 from Empire interactive Only(multi language supported)

if you have already problems with installing sev from your cd i would check if the cd has no scratches or so.
if the cd is ok, i would guess that your windows has a problem already if you can´t install from cd directly.
with so few info the best guess from me would be to make a fresh installation of windows and try it again.
if something is not ok with your cd or your cd-drive, try to turn off the music.
