Those little icons above my planets

Submitted by jjse on Sat, 2007-08-11 12:55. Space Empires V General

Is there a list showing what all those icons above my planets are? I can tell one of them shows it has a spaceyard, one represent domed world, but the others totally elude me. Thanks!

Hi jjse,

I had the same problem and I think Spuda is not correct in his answer.
If you are referening to these icons: look for 'Icons_PlanetStatus.bmp' (don't know
how to attach the picture), these icons are NOT displayed in the manual.

However, to pass on the answer I got, look under empire option (crown icon)->empire options->system display, scroll down to find as last item 'specific colony icons to display'. All the options are the icons you see in the a.m. bmp file. 1st row are 1-4, 2nd row are 5-8 ....

Hope this is what you are looking for and it helps.

Hi fdlu, your right about the buttons location?
But not about the list in manuals?

jjse asked for a list of the icons and what they were?

They are where I said in original manual (US BOOK) pages 62-64 in black and white?

If you download the latest PDF manual from malfador,
The list is on page 48 in full colour?

I have a copy in my hand now?

the later pdf manual is much larger than the pdf manual included in the origional game, its worth a look?

Great info for jjse Though about where to find the buttons?

Cheers Guys hope this helps to sort it out.

Hi jjse,
In answer to your question?
Is there a list showing what all those icons above my planets are? I can tell one of them shows it has a spaceyard, one represent domed world, but the others totally elude me.

Look in the manual page 62-64? OR

Go to http://www.malfador.com/SE5
then to se5 patch down load option,
you will see this link for LATEST DOWN LOAD MANUAL
A "PDF Manual (zip file)"

Download it and Copy it over the exsiting manual in se5

The list is shown on page 48 in colour.

Hope this helps
