I'm playing spave empire V - patch 1.44 - and I notice that my fleets don't attack when fighting other fleets

they just kind of sit there - they move to the other fleet but don't engage - even after I target the other fleet with the buttons.

Anyone expereince this?

I used the quick start option.

Does this happen with all your fleets?

Be aware that if the oldest ship in the fleet (default leader as of now, but will be fixed next patch) can't fight, they won't attack.

Not moving at all sounds more like a supply issue, but even then they should move very slowly.

Ships will nearly always move either to attack or escape. I haven't enough experience with 1.44, so maybe there's something else going on.
