Default ShipSet

Submitted by Non-Terrestrial on Mon, 2007-08-06 14:36. Space Empires V General

I wanted to use the default shipset which apparently is used for neutral races when generated in a game. I had to copy it to a new directory and add a couple files from another in game race and change it so it was selectable by player, changed all the files and the name default within files to my race name... everything worked. I can select it in game and use the default shipset, but the ships in the main system window are invisible. They do not show under the race flag in the system window when moving around in space.

Does anyone know why they are invisible? It's only this default shipset.

Never mind, I first couldn't get slots, because I didn't change the name 'default' to my racename within the slot configuration file, now I see why they were invisible, I didn't change from the name 'default' to my racename within the *racename*_Ships_XFileClasses.txt file... so I figured it out and can fully and completely use the 'default' shipset in the game now that is used for neutral races...
