That's hardly a SeV problem, even less "critical".
Simply go to a websiite like http://www.whatismyipaddress.com/

I think the multiplayer is critical, this TCP/IP type of game does not work well or even start in most cases. clearly it needs looked in to.
when you start a game on a pc it will show your IP in the top right of the screen in multiplayer mode.
start up your host first then get the ip from it and take that over to you other players.
