after patching |

"The data files currently being used do not match the data files that were used when this game was started. All five players have received this message after they patched to ver 1.44. Me being the host, I did not receive it. Does not appear to be disrupting the game, just the message every turn. First time this has manifested after installing a patch. Is there something that can stop this message?

Re: after patching
Me and a guy named Goooner have received this message as well. Just started a new IRM game on PBW 2 nights ago, with 1.44. It kept popping that error up at the beginning of the game, but we just kept playing, nothing was out of sync so far that we can tell.
we all downloaded the same mod to be sure as well. same link etc.
if theres 3 of us having the error, then theres alot more :/
Re: after patching
Yeah, I have even noticed that this problem occurs when playing stock SEV, trying to open the game file on the same computer as the game was created on.
I created a game of simultanious movement. When I try to open the file, I get the error message.
PBW is not even involved.
So there must be an issue with 1.44.
Have you experienced unusually big turn files with 1.44?

Re: after patching
Yes, I created a game on PBW and I get that message every turn too.

Re: after patching
that means that somehow you're using different mod versions.
or that you've edited something in the data files and they haven't.
