A few questions |
1. Is there some bug that makes the game run out of memory as the game progresses? I get to a point to where the turns take 20 minutes to resolve and I can only play a few turns before it bombs out.
2. Is there any way to refit ships other than just going to each ship (or same ship class in a stack) and hit retrofit?
3. Is there a way to have my non combat ships stop running from battle and just stop? I invade a planet and I always end up splitting my fleet.
4. How do i get the patrol function to work?
5. What does the fighter attack strategy do? Does it mean a ship (carrier) will use fighters to attack or is it what the fighters themselves do?
6. how do the tasks force formations line up with the "squad" formations? I tell it to do a Bull and some of my ships are like parsecs in the back and I have one solitary one in the front (even after assigning roles).
7. Have fleet leaders been removed?

Re: A few questions
2. no, that´s the way it works. best you can do is mark ships of the same shipclass/design.

Re: A few questions
1. The known memory leaks were fixed as of 1.44.
2. You can only retrofit ships in one sector at the same time.
3. Change their strategy settings so that they don't retreat?
5. IIRC, its like the Point Blank strategy, designed for use by fighters.
7. No, but they are not currently manually resettable.
