PlanetSurface picture revealing colonies |

Not sure if this has been brought up before, but its something I just noticed since I've been playing around with the systems.
Basically, if you look at the "details" for a planet which you know is there (like from having Ancient Race trait), the planet surface snapshot will show a colony picture if its colonized, even if you havent visited the planet and seen that for yourself.
Im not sure if this also applies to planets that are colonized later, but I assume so. Ill try and check this by hotseating later today.
Edit - I've just checked it, and it does indeed show ANY colonized planet in this way, not just homeworlds. (Maybe we should rename Ancient Race to Omniscience...)

Re: PlanetSurface picture revealing colonies
I don't see it as an issue, since you can find them other ways. (or at least the homeworlds)
It's as simple as looking throught the planet database for planets with resources stats about the same as your homeworld. All homeworlds use the same stats regardless of who lives there. Not Exactly the same, but for the higher ones it's between 116 and 125, IIRC. So just look for planets with those stats and you'll find the homeworlds every time! At least it's not like SE2 where it stamps your empire logo on your homeworld.
