Mainstrings.txt and the new patch

If this exists somewhere and I missed it, I apologize for the garbage post... but I installed the new patch (1.44) and am playing with BM and the latest FQM. It worked before the patch and from what I have read should work fine after the patch. But it doesn't for me...my luck.

I get - \gametypes\balance mod fqm\data\Mainstrings.txt and a listing of a good 50 fields it cannot find within the text file.

I'd troubleshoot it myself but I work 12 hours a day everyday almost and I just don't have the time. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am sure its stupid and minor. Thanks in advance!

edit> well the regular BM 1.08 without the latest FQM will start a game...so I will try reupdating FQM in a new gametypes folder and see what happens.

edit2> that fixed the issue... not sure where I messed up before, but recopying the folder and updating FQM again seemed to work. I wonder where the entries in the Mainstrings.txt came from... I never touched it myself.

I remember Kwok said that after the release of the patch the code in BM should also be updated to avoid potential problems. I tried starting a game with BM 1.08 and didn't notice anything but there's no guarantee that later in the game (or the part of it running that I'm not aware of) will run flawlessly.

I cannot continue/load my BM 1.08 games. But newly started ones seem to work fine.

Strange, I can load my 1.08 game... haven't tried to start a new one.

edit: sorry it's 1.06 that loads fine.
