Space Empires V General
Does SEV have the ability to wait for events to happen (rather than just a turn number) to fire a certain script? Alternately, can scripts be used to fire or trigger something like a star collapse or a planet destruction?

It's possible to have a "captain" component, but no way to limit it to just one per empire etc.

Yes. You'd just need to have a custom events script included with a mod for the scenario etc.
