Mine field bug

Submitted by Athalian on Wed, 2007-05-30 01:26. Bug Reports

You can do transfer cargo and move a minefield whole or partially to a ships/planets cargo hold. Is this supposed to be possible? Just sound weird since you can not recover it through the launch/recover menu.

Yip. Not with launch/recover button, but by cargo transfer. The mines act like cargo and cargo can be transfered ^^

So, it's either a bug or the "mine layer" component was only intended to be used in combat, eh?

Also, trying to move supplies/ordinance from the minefield caused an "exception violation" in SE5.exe

EDIT: only happens when i have transfered all mines away, after that, if i try to remove the supplies/ordinance i get the violation error. Doesn't make sense to remove 0 supply/ordinance, but u might click it by mistake.
