A game question do you know how to stop planetary fighters from rushing off to fight instead of staying and defending the planet and thereby be supported by it defenses.
This is causing me some problems as the fighters are shout up by enemy fighters which then hit the planet and its other defenses, over whelming them.

Set auto-launch rate to 0. manual launching will be unaffected.
