King of the Hill Game Khyron vs Lord Ashur

Submitted by CaptainBrann on Tue, 2007-05-15 09:27. Space Empires V General

Second Assyrian Empire.

In 2200ad the nuclear war happened, the earth was devastated and all the main races were wiped out. In the two centuries following the Assyrians a minor people scattered in 606bc reformed. They defeated the other races trying to exert themselves and now rule the planet under their God King and Lord.

2400ad, the Assyrians take there first steps into space hoping to find the Gods.
Over the next 2 years they find an colonise various small worlds but find no trace of the Gods or any life form. They start to think that the Gods must be beyond the confines of this area of space and that only they were created.

Second Assyrian Empire

2402.5ad First contact, the people hold their breath in anticipation, have we meet the Gods or is it another people.
Our theologians pray and debate and decide that as they look very unwarlike and have ships they can not be the Gods but a new race.

As is normal for us we propose a treaty of preferred client race.
Will they accept or will we have to subdue them?
Are there chariots and bows better than ours or shall we prevail?

Ashur is on our side and we will find him and his offspring.

They did what, well they will have to pay for there termity.
"sir they are using a large ship to carry over 50 small fighters. There fighters are more advanced than ours and our ships will be vulnerable to them."
Then we will have to rely on other tactics then.... rest of conversation scrambled for security reasons.

"sir should we post a news item on this?"

T'sentraedi fleet carrier Dentalla captain Jenius to Commander Khyron:

RE: Standard first contact procedures to unidentified ship in sector D031

Warlord Khyron -
We attempted to initiate first contact with the alien ship as per our mission orders. However, the ship immediately fled from our honor guard of our most valiant battle pod pilots as a t’sen-mot would. After the initial shock of such a vile snub to the honor of our warriors, nay our very race, attack wing leader Del'yar assumed command of the tactical situation. The resulting fight lasted longer than expected, the enemy, though lacking in any armaments had several vaci of armor plating. The extra time gave our pilots some good target practice though.
The last insult was when the negronta alien vessel didn't even attempt to turn and ram when it's fate was obvious to all. When our warriors returned they were uncontrollable, the ready room and several crew quarters were trashed. I request, and my command staff concur, that we be allowed to issue only service demerits instead of the ususal ten-and-two lashes for offenders idenitified attempting to damage war materiel in a time of conflict. Please advise.
Alternate order B-03 went into effect after order was restored. The small amount of remains of the ship that could be found were brought aboard the Dentalla for first analysis. Only small fragments remained, but our engineers were able to identify most of what was found. They do not appear to be technologically superior to us, but some odd devises defy explanation. All items are being sent to Fleet Intel HQ via courier drones marked as ultra-secret visual organs only.
Upon execution of said orders I have taken iniative and shall remain in sector D031 to assist with the survey of this new area of space, and any subsequent sectors that it may lead to. These negronta must come from somewhere, we shall see how long they think the can run.

Second Assyrian Empire

General Sargon to Lord Ashur.

"My lord god we have news from the battle front both good and bad unfortunately. The good news is that the situation in the north has been stabilized the T'serntraedi carrier has been engaged while traveling into our system it and its fighters have been destroyed. Our losses were minimal, a few outpost satellites the gods were with us this day. My lord the other news is not so good one of our new colonies in the south has been hit by a second carrier in a sneak attack. Unfortunately we lost all structures on the surface but most of the people were protected in our shelters, again the gods were with us it could have much worse there fighters ran out of ammo before they could penetrate the shelters."

General this is not good enough we have been caught unaware twice now and only the blessing of the gods have saved us from a worse disaster. The people will not stand for this lackness and I do not intend to look bad, take out and execute those responsible for planning and sector defense.

"Lord its not that our forces are not good enough they just appear to be in the wrong places. Research analysis's of the reminds of the enemy forces show certain weakness that we can exploit. Lord it just takes time to get the forces into the right area. There recon ships seem to be the carriers while ours are unamred."

General then that must change, send out armed ships in future and start work on better planetary defenses. This must not happen again, if it does it will be your head. I want a good victory without any losses to give to the people.

"Lord we have gained more than we lost, the T'sentraedi lost a carrier and all its fighters while all we lost were a few facilities and an unarmed scout ship, given the right spin that can be seen as a victory by the people"

General I will not claim a victory until I have a proper one to celebrate. However I want the people of ........... colony [deleted for security reasons] to be given the Ishtar Star in commeration of there heroic stand against great odds. You are also to send ships there to protect them. That is all General Sargon, you can go.

Final Court Martial report - Captain Jenius (Deceased) of the Dentalla

Findings of fact:
Captain Jenius ordered the Dentalla into sector D041 to pursue known enemy ships and search for potential enemy colonies or fortifications. Upon exiting the spacial anomoly that allows long range space travel, the Dentalla came under fire from enemy satellites. Although not powerful nor plentiful the element of surprise and either expert gunnery or luck brought the great ship to a crawl.
Persuant with standard operational procedures Captain Jenius had all five battle pod squadrons on alert durning the jump and didn't waste a morja launching them as quickly as his dying ship could. Although they were not able to save their carrier, attack wing leader Del'yar easily destroyed the enemy satellites. The order to abandon ship came moments after the last pod left the launch tube. There are unconfirmed reports of separation of as many as 5 life boats before the Dentalla's reactor was damaged enought to go supercritical. The resulting explosion destroyed any such life boats before any of the battle pods could pick up their beacons.

Ship Status: Destroyed
Crew Status: Deceased, Battle Pod Squadrons unscathed
Enemy Status: Destroyed

Judgement:
Captain Jenius's decision to jump into sector D041 blind, was found justifiable by the court. This system was known and had a T'sentraedi presence before the jump. The minimal forces presence and their focus on surveying the system left the warp exit point unguarded. Although the entire crew, with the exception of the battle pod pilots, were lost the primary function of the carrier was carried through with competence. No cowardice, complicity nor incompetence is found on the part of Cpt. Jenius.

Recommendations:
Bring the currently independent command structure of the Astrogation and Survey Corps under one of the combat branches. This will allow us to better coordinate survey of contested systems and more easily provide escorts for survey expeditions if needed.
Launch punative military strikes at identified enemy targets of opportunity. This t’sen-mot enemy persists on not meeting our warriors on the field of honor, they instead flee like a prey-beast or ambush with un-t'senned satellites. While the loss of the Dentalla is regrettable it is hardly a blow to our military might in the area, the negronta cannot be allowed to think that they can get away with this cowardly way of fighting. One or more colonies should be razed to this end.
If all else fails we shall have to bring the fight to them in such a way that they cannot run away or use machines to distance themselves from the glorious battles that we shall provide.

Personal Note to Warlord Khyron from Rear Admiral Rhythal:
The battle footage of the ambush of the Dentalla has had the desired effect on the populace, they are as enraged as the warriors of the cowardly tactics of the enemy. There are several rumours that the ship and all attack squadrons were lost, even though the battle recordings were quite clear that the squadrons were unharmed. We have contacted all media sources to correct the issue, but once a rumour like this has started it is almost impossible to squash totally.

Report of Fleet Admiral Irra to Central command

Lord we have in the last week engaged the enemy twice and been victorious. in the first encounter we dealt with a solitary enemy ship with no trouble, this is payback for there destruction of our unarmed scout. However I would like to commend there bravery as they closed to ram us rather than use there speed to run away.

The second encounter was a bigger affair and we were out numbered. Our small fleet came upon a carrier and its escort with over 50 fighters. Having lunched the fighters the carrier ran while the escort bought it time to launch and run. Our ships were then hit by multipliable swamp of fighters who concentrated on just one of our ships, the Nineveh. While they tried to destroy the Nineveh our other 3 ships assailed them from the flanks. By thew end of the brief encounter we had destroyed or baldly damaged all of there fighters, destroyed the escort and driven off the carrier. Our losses in ordnance were great but it was all used to good effect. Nineveh is the only damaged ship and she will be ready in a few months for renewed action.

Second Assyrian Empire

General Sargon to Lord Ashur.

"My Lord we have news of a victory in the north. Our fleet in the Pantasera system has hunted down and destroyed enemy forces there. For the damage of 1 of our ships we have destroyed 2 of there’s and wiped out a group of there battle pods. We have to report that they fight bravely even when there is no chance of victory; however our forces also fought bravely even when out numbered. We wish to commend the ship Nineveh and Fleet Admiral Irra for there actions."

General let the people know that these aliens are not the ogres they seemed and have a public naming ceremony for the Admiral and his ship. Although we have won this time these beings are not to be under estimated there Battle pods are a threat and they are brave and clever. We must redouble our efforts to find there systems and take the fight to them.
What news from the south general?

"My Lord there carrier appears to have retired, we think that the Battle pods have ran out of ordinance. That will give us time to reinforce the area and prepare to strike back. In the end we lost some facilities but nothing of great value and forced there ship to retire. This seems to be a weakness in there designs not enough supply for the battle pods they seem to be a one shot weapon."

General that is good news we must work to take advantage of that fact and find out how far there empire stretches. Get to it and keep up the good work, give my blessing to your people.

Report of Fleet Admiral Irra North East sector to Central command
This month has seen an upsurge of T’sentraedi activity, there were 2 skirmishes with there Battle Pods. In them we lost the damaged Nineveh and another ship for the loss of around 20 of there Pods. These Pods had new weapons and no carrier; we can only assume that they are working from the colony in Pantrissa. This is grave news as they can produce their Pods on an undeveloped world and we need space yards to build our ships.
I await instructions while taking all measures to keep control of the system. Sending parts of the new pods for analysis by our scientists, hopefully they can come up with a counter.
Second Assyrian Empire

General Sargon to Lord Ashur.
“My Lord, more grave news from the front. Admiral Irra’s fleet has been engaged twice more by numerous battle pods this time without a carrier and of a new design. They are using nuclear missiles on their pods to target our ships. We had no idea that you could get missiles that small, and our ships can not take many hits from them in spit of our better armour. In fact we need to think of new tactics to counter this advance of there’s. Our research seems to be lacking and they are gaining new advantages each month. At least so far our colonies have held out but we need to start work on a counter to the threat this Warlord Khyron is proving to be. It’s like the Medes and Babylon’s again numbers against quality. At least our people are still behind us unlike last time when there morale was sapped.”

General I am lead to believe that our scientists have got some new advances in train and that before the year is out we will have new ships to counter this threat. We must pray that the new designs will be able to deal with there advances as well. We must get the people to redouble there efforts or we will not prevail.
“Lord I will get the controllers on to it straight away, we need more resources and better technology and we need them yesterday.”
Thank you General you have my leave.

“This is just getting too much we have to spend longer and longer in the shelters as the T’sen fighters attack our homes and work places. It’s about time something was done I tell you. I heard that 3 million have died already in this war and no sign of any counter attack by our forces. You wonder what all our taxes and hard work goes on, big houses for the generals I expect.”

General Sargon & Lord Ashur.
So General even after all the investment in planetary defense we are still taking losses, millions dead and more hardware gone. When will this stop.
“My Lord, its not my fault our defenses work we just can not match the numbers of Pods being thrown at us. One planet was assaulted by nearly 100 of them; we have no way of stopping that many pods at once. In fact we have no idea how to stop them.”
General I want the general staff and the science forum to convene at once I want answers from them and I want them now!! This is just not good enough, I am your god and lord and I will have a success. The people hare holding up extremely well but they will not accept this level of punishment for long.

Zentraedi Galaxy News

Military command has released information today on recent actions in the D619 sector. The enemy colony in the disputed sector had been conquered by the infamous Boratu Brigate. Warlord Khyron's former command captured the alien planet with all facilities intact without firing a single shot. Though the resulting celebration did destroy several structures with little military value. This operation marks the first time our warriors deployed on one of the rocky planets that litter space, this enemy seem to prefer these tiny hard planets.
Although this was a very small planet, it is viewed as a key strategic victory. No other known enemy outposts exist in the system, and our colony is in close orbital proximity to the captured planet. The 9th fleet will remain in the area while mop-up activities continue, with no word as yet of any forther plans in this region of space.

Conference of the general staff and science forum.

Well what do you all have to say for yourselves!! Planets lost ships destroyed systems under attack we are always responding to new disasters.
Where is our militia and ground troops?
Why?

Well its not our fault, the T’sen seem to have a head start on us in all area’s, there battle pods are more advanced than our fighters and now they have started using armoured chariots to attack and take our worlds. Its not our fault that they have an advantage over us. However our ships are better than there’s, much better we just do not have enough of them as yet. However we are working hard at building more its just that our economy is struggling to keep up.

Still you do not take responsibility for your failures. I and the Assyrian people expect more and we will have it. I said that any more disasters and heads would roll. Therefore General Sargon has been executed and your new boss will be Admiral Ilu-Mer. I expect a redoubling of effort to get the economy on line and to build and develop new ways of dealing with our enemy. By this time next year I want to have better & new forces who are winning.

My Lord we will try our best our new designs are good we just do not have enough of them in the right places and we keep being caught of guard. We will make sure that the defences are firmed up and in the right places.

Very well see that you do. And find the traitor’s who badly damaged our new ship I want a public hanging.
You may go.

Admiral Ilu-Mer to Lord Ashur

“My Lord we have a great victory. In Pantirissa in the North East sector our planetary forces fought off an enemy assault fleet of 2 carriers; 10 frigates as well as 100’s of fighters and some grunt ground assault troops.
The battle was hard and vicious, but we won.
Losses to date are a few of our satellites more of our fighter’s; 1 planetary weapons platform and 4 of our new Militia. There losses have been stated as 6 frigates destroyed and 2 badly damaged as well as some fighters and grunts. Although they still have a beachhead we expect it to be eliminated soon. They still have ships and fighters in orbit but we have given them a good beating. It shows that our new equipment is working well on top of that our new mining technologies are now on line and our economy is in much better shape. This all bodes well for the future as we can now expand our forces and start to strike back.
As well as that we have destroyed another ship in the new northern sector.
On top of that our South East sector fleet has started the fight back in that area of space.
All in all it looks good, though we shall not get complacent again.
Interestingly in the Pantirissa fight some of the enemy grunts fired on each other while in space a whole load of their fighters did nothing but spin around the planet. [this seems to be a bug in the game system] the gods must have been helping us this day.”

Well Admiral Ilu-Mer it seems I have given the right man the job after all. Let’s just keep up the good work. Now maybe the T’sen will see what it is like to be responding to us.

The government claimed a mayor victory last month and then keep quite about this disaster.
We seem to be taking 1 step forward and then 2 back.
We are told that our ships are better than anything they have and yet we are constantly beaten by there battle pods.
It would appear that the economics of using small craft give them a advantage in numbers as well as in tactics.
We are calling on the government to do something and do it fast.

Today on Good Morning T'sentraedi Gharthain and Yetha'lee interview the captured Assyrian Rargoy.

Gharthain: Rorgoy, great to have you here today. I know you've been busy after being transported back from the front lines where your colony and then the media sensation due to your popularity amoung the Zentraedi. How are you handling all this?
Rorgoy: I am overwhelmed. I had expected interrogation, torture or something like that. To tell the truth our media painted a picture quite dark of your peoples. We were all quite afraid when your troops came marching into our city. But after you didn't eat any of us or even point a gun at us at any time we learned just how wrongly you had been portrayed to us.
Yetha'lee: How have things been since you got back to our homeworld? I'm sure everything is so different for you.
Rorgoy: Different? I guess it is, strangely it seems such a long time ago since all of this happened. But you know, when you get down to the basics things are about the same wherever you go. People are people: Zentraedi, Assyrian; White, Blue or Green.
Gharthain: You seem to always be on the bleeding edge of things. You sign up for colonial life then after the colony falls to us you are the first one out of the gate to embrace our lifestyle, and seem to be taking to it I might say.
Rorgoy: Oh yes I am taking to it! Though to be honest I didn't actually sign up to be a colonist, they just rounded up a bunch of us and sent us on a one way trip to the sticks. Most of us accept it as part of life. This is great. I've been doing talk shows, mall openings all the big events.

Announcer: Coming up after the break, Rorgoy will be back with us. But first a word from our sponsor.

Assyrian Broadcasting Galaxy news.

Well the government have confirmed the loss of our new ship’s in what they are calling an error by General Sargon when he was in charge as the ships moved in piecemeal. Investigations have revealed that ships have not been put into properly coordinated fleets with the proper orders. It is reported that Admiral Ilu-Mer has started a new training system for flag officers and some training in fleet work. It has also started work on refining our fighter tactics to counter the T’sen advantage.

Research into the background of the captured Assyrian Rargoy shown on Good Morning T'sentraedi has found that he was a spy and child molester. Intelligence sources have been reported as saying that he and others were under investigation following the bombing of one of our warships. Leaked reports imply that the populace of Osshod colony are fighting back with guerrilla tactics.

Other news:-
The ship yards have been closed off in while new ships are lunched this is a security response to terrorist attacks by T’sen agents.

Sun spot activity is expected to be normal this year after last year’s strange activity.

The celebrations of Ashur day have left the populace happy and content.

The government acknowledged the loss of 2 more ships this week but claim that the enemy lost 1 of there ships and around 20 battle pods in small skirmishes.

On better news our Lord Ashur 15th wife has just given birth to his 31st child a girl this time.

We now go to your regional programs.

More skirmishes in the north east sector with 1 enemy Annihilator destroyed for no losses on our side.
Our defense correspondent reports that it would appear that we are better at defending than attacking. Government sources will not confirm a switch to defensive tactics rather than losing ships by attacking. To this end it is rumoured that the Pantrissa system is to become a massive defensive base for the T’sen to batter themselves against.
More rumours report that a large number of armoured atmospheric craft have been built and manned to attack the gas planets the frail T’sen live on.

Military command has issued a statement about the loss of the carrier Farthii with all hands aboard. Official word is that Captain Tyri attacked the enemy colony against direct orders due to mounting frustrations about the stalemate in the sector. The majority oh the Farthii's battle pods were recovered by her sister ship the Bupree, though some losses occured during launches from low orbit within the planetary defense grid.

This reporter has received information that Captain Tyri had discovered the near completion of a major orbital defense base about to be made operational to further shore up the enemy defenses. For whatever reason Tyri took the iniative to try his forlorn assault with heavily damaged battle pods critically low on supplies. Captain Dotex of the Bupree is still awaiting final clearance for his use of the recall override of the Farthii's battle pod contingent. But with Captain Tyri's last words in his defense there is little doubt the way the urtas will fall.

Volunteer rates for the battle pod corps continue to rise, especially last month after several dozen Assyrian refugees signed up to fight against their own kind along side our people. The factories are building the pods as quickly as possible. Those whose tour of duty will be delayed until the pods are assembled are being sent to a remote colony to practice shoting womp rats with antiquated T-16's to improve marks-T'sen-ship.

Stay tuned for the breaking news as it develops here on ZNN.

It will help to make our colonies more secure. It is a lavish station with the best weapons and armour our technicians can come up with. Report from Design department.

My lords we think that our engineers and tacticians have come up with a new design of Fighter which can take the battle pods on in an even fight and win. It is a radical departure from normal design policies but we are sure that it will work. Simulations show a very good kill ratio.
Of course it now has to be built in numbers to match the enemy, but that is another department’s responsibility.

Well admiral what is the latest news?

“My Lord in the last 2 months we have destroyed 4 enemy ships including 1 Crusader carrier and 2 Stargazer’s as well as many battle pods. All of this for no loss to us.”

Well done admiral, how’s the research coming alone?

“Well my Lord, we now have a new fighter design as well as new planetary anti pod defences. The latest designs are just being built. Its putting a bit of a strain on our production abilities but we will do it.”

What about there new designs particularly of new ships my admiral?

“Lord we have no info on them as yet but they can not be as good as ours as we have spent all our time and energy working on them while they worked on there battle pods. We still believe that they have a big advantage over us in small ships, though we are clawing it back a bit. However our big ships are a match for any thing of there’s we have seen and therefore must be as good as any new design they may have, particularly as we have new designs of our own on the board.”

Well done admiral.

We expect more improvements during this next year my lord and then we might be able to finally take the war to them instead of reacting.”

Well done my forum keep up the good work.

Sounds like the tides are turning, however I read very little about the raiding of any of Khyron's colonies.

Appendix XI
Yearly Status Report
T'sentraedi Senate Committe on Military Spending

Admiral Rhythal

As expected this year has had little in the way of progress in the war against the Assyrians. They have choosen to counter our battle pods without the usual one-on-one combat that we have historically used. Their counter-measures have been improving and high command as well as field command have made some poor choices that have caused us some of the losses in the attached form L-391x.

But Military research has progressed better than expected and we have some incremental improvements in existing war machines as well as some breakthroughs that have taken us in entirely new directions.

We have had two incursions against colonies. In both cases the colony was attacked shortly after colonization but still managed to hold. New procedures for colonial development are in the works to correct these issues as they arise in the future.

After our first success at 'liberating' enemy colonial possesions we have not met with any further successes. A review of the whole idea is underway at the highest levels.

Palace of Lord Ashur.

Lord! Lord!
Dire news.

Yes what is it?

“Lord the T’sen have pre-empted us again a fleet of 16 of there warships various types but all frigate sized.”

Yes yes get on with it

“My Lord they have entered the Patrissa system in the North East brushing aside our satellite warning system. We lost all 13 satellite’s while destroying 1 and badly damaging 3 others. This looks like an attempt to strike at our colonies there. We have been firming up those defences lately but this is a big fleet, the good news is that with the damage they only have 11 ships ready for action, we should be able to hold these and it will but us time to continue to improve our defences.”

There appear to be out building us again, its not good enough, at least we should have some info on there latest designs now what are they like?

“My Lord they are not as good as ours although there missiles are a better type that ours, which will make our planets vulnerable. However the rest of there equipment is not as good as ours but they are gaining quickly on us.”

Hum I will have to think on this. You can go.
By the way this is not to leave the palace do you understand!

Hi Myrath

it was your long story which got me to play KOTH. It also inspired me to write as I went.

Not many raids on Khyron's colonies as where we share systems he had a massive advantage over me. Have lunched a few fighter raids in the last couple of turns. My attempt to strike back saw the loss of my whole fleet to his planetary battle pods [fighters].

I had gone for a long term strategy and i think he went for a quick attack. It seemed to work too as I was pushed onto the defensive early on and have yet been unable to inflict enough damage to respond. However my long term plans are starting to come into effect so it has a long way to go.

As you have played before can you tell me how to get fighters to stay within the planetary defense grid instead of going off out of range and attacking alone.
Also I have to load all cargo 1 at a time instead of in multiples is it just me or is it a bug.

Border conflict heats up

In two coordinated actions enemy warp point defenses were attacked and the missions were declared unqualified successes by military analysts. T'sen losses are reported as light, including the frigate Pyath. The burnt-out husk of the Pyath is being towed back to Zentraedi space to be converted into an orbital memorial to those lost in the war.

Construction of warships continues at an amazing rate, the Bureau of Strategic Resources is implementing a new public awareness campaign aimed to get all T'sen to recycle materials that have been in short supply since the ramp up in ship construction. BSR also warns of further crack downs on black market sales of rationed items.

“My Lord the last few months have been good to us. Although we have lost a small moon with all hands it took out and badly damaged 11 of there Pantrissa fleet. There grunts failed to take the moon intact, due to the heroic defence put up. Our analysts think that of the 22 ships they have in the area at least a 1/3 our badly damaged and all must be low of supplies. It is interesting to note that they appear to have given up using carrier ships in these new assaults. We think that there economy is having trouble building enough pods or getting enough good volunteers for them.
The easy victory in the South shows that they do not have the ability to be strong everywhere. So if we can hold in the north east we should be able to strike back in the north, south and south eastern sectors.
Since the enemy terrorist attack last year no more attacks have been made it seems our security has shut down there cells effectively. On the Intel front our operations are beginning to bare fruit.

Also our fighter tactics group have decided that they can not work out how to use fighters in defence effectively as they always seem to tear off and fight the enemy out side of the protective zone of the planetary defences.
[Does any one know how to keep fighters and ships orbiting the planet rather than moving to intercept. I have tried using fleets with immobile sat in the as well to tie them down but they still run off ahead.] .
There advice is to give up on them foe defence and use more satellites instead. We know that we can only get 1 sat for every 5 fighters but we just can not integrate them into a defence grid.
That’s it my Lord I hope that by the year end we will at long last be able to say that we are winning this war.

ABGN [Assyrian Broadcasting Galaxy news.]

Admiral Ilu-Mer thank you for coming in today and answering some questions.

K’anye that’s all right we thought it about time we explained to your viewers what has been going on and how the war is going particularly in light of recent days.

Ok admiral, so why have we been doing so badly in this war?

Well I do not think we have been doing badly, yes we were caught unaware at the beginning but since then we have stabilised the position and as you know yesterday to took our first enemy colony.

Admiral can I ask you about that operation?

Of course, it has taken our engineers a little while to build up the required force but now its done the superiority of our ships can be seen. Our fighter and war ships suppressed the enemy defences and then our new armoured atmospheric craft went in and found the population waiting to surrender to us. In fact they are so eager to help that they are volunteering for our research and Intel programs in large numbers.

Admiral can I ask about the T’sen now we have seen what they look like and had a chance to examine them...

Well they are bipeds just like us only a lot weaker and very frail from living on a gas world. They are not so war minded as us which surprises me as they are very brave fighting in there little battle pods. I think that they are just good small craft pilots because that is how they get around there big planets. They seem very nice people and would properly not be fighting us if it weren’t for there warlord. There society is very structured with very few freedoms.

Admiral if I may can you tell be anything about the current military situation.

K’anye I can only tell you a little there are spies around you know, though they can not be T’sen as they stand out a lot from us.
At the moment we have continuing military operations in the south east after taking Ashadra IV. We expect that it will take a few more months to track down al enemy ships before we move on to the next system.
In the north east the Pantrissa system we have just lost a small moon the taking of which cost the enemy 26 battle pods and 5 frigates as well as another 6 badly damaged [more than 70%] we did lose all the defenders but our people fought to the last and denied the enemy the planet. They still have 22 ships in this system many of which are damaged so we do not expect an assault on one of our mayor colonies there for a while and as they are bigger they damage they will infect will be much greater. The moon could only hold 2,000 tons of defences whereas the mayor colonies have 5 or more times that capacity.

Admiral how do you think the war is going?

Well so far I think its honours even, however I think we are gaining the advantage our guerrilla’s in Oshod have caused losses to the T’sen economy with there sabotage activities and we hope that it will continue to be a drain on them to hold that area down.

Thank you admiral.

Now for other news.

The price of food rose for the second time this year as our forces took more of it for campaigning.

Shares in high tech industries rose on news of a mayor new breakthrough in weapons design. It has been rumoured that the new ship designs the breakthroughs have made possible will finish off the pod menace for good.

Now for the weather.

House of the Pantrissa System governor.

Alright then Ab-sar-ham read that message back to me.

“Urgent for the eyes of the king only.”

My Lord and King may you grow in power and glory, grant me your humble servant a small amount of your wisdom. I am writing this as a last measure, the T’sen presence in this system continues to grow they now have over 30 warships here. The people are demanding protection but we only get vague non committal answers from the command. Due to the blockade we are running low on all consumables as well as food. We need relief soon or I do not know how we will avoid deaths due to hunger. Our defences continue to grow but without ships we can not take the war to the enemy and relive the pressure on the colonies.
I know you have many demands on your time and your power but the situation is getting more desperate by the week.
Please my Lord send a reliving force.

Your humble servant

So that’s the last message from Kris is it, well sent in on to the high command.

What’s the analysis of the battle’s which have just happened then.

Sir our small force of 4 1st generation Nashi Tukshi DD’s managed to take out took out 4 enemy frigates before returning to a burnt out Pantrissa II.
While they were away Pantrissa II was hit by a force of 100 fighters and 25 frigates some of a more modern design. They used cannons and nuclear missiles to level the colony of 42 million. We do not believe that there were any survivor’s; they all died bravely fighting back. Fight they did my lord they took out nearly all the fighters and 5 of the warships. Unfortunately when our fleet got back they were also destroyed by the rest of the T’sen force though not before damaging another 5 of there ships.
Unfortunately that means we are next, the last Assyrian outpost in the north east sector. If we can do as well as our sister colony then it will take the T’sen a while to recover from the attack.

Sent this information to our king and tell him we will fight to the last round.

Well admiral I hear that we have bad and good news from the various fronts, what is it?

“My King Pantrissa in the north east sector has fallen all 42million killed in a wonton act of destruction, we also lost our small force of destroyers which were based there. We expect the T’sen to continue to advance there and take out our last colony soon.”
Well that’s the bad news what’s the good news?
“My Lord in the south we have destroyed two of there colonies and there defenders with no loss to ourselves. We have attacked them in two different systems and killed 29 million of there people in revenge for there dastardly act of destruction. One of them was taken out by 1 of our new frigates all by itself; this marks a move forward in our ships abilities.

My admiral what is the change of us rescuing the last Pantrissa colony?

“My King we were nearly ready to go when they struck, we now have no re-supply base so must wait until some supply ships come up to support the fleet waiting to go. The good news on that front is that they are nearly there and with the damage the T’sen have taken in that sector we think that the fleet has a good chance of success. “

Very well admiral you may go.

Game question.

i have problems with the defence of planets. the space stations and staerlits never seem to be in the right place so they get taken out peacemeal.

in the above assault if all of the defending forces had worked together, Fighters, Saterlites, and space station along with the weapons platforms more damage would have been inflected on the attackers. instead the fighters went off and got killed then the weapon platforms were shot up then the satellites and the the space station. if the space station and sterllites had supported each other and the been facing the right direction then the whole lot would have been fighting together instead of in little bits.

Does anyone have any ideas how to get this all to work together, if you can't then it makes planetary defence very hard unless you have a large cargo space for loads of weapons platforms.

Captain Brann,

You can go into the sector view and position the units how you like. So if you want all the satellites tightly packed around the space station, you could do that manually. (same for placing ships around warp points and after battles if they get spread out). You could slow down fighters by giving them less engines, but they would probably still fly straight at the enemy, they would only get their slower. This can work well if combined with ships that attack also so they hit the enemy at the same time. In a defensive situation not so sure. I dont know much about attack strategies for units and ships, there may be something there that might help you with fighters.

Since you are typically using fighters and sats as planetary defense, have you tried creating a fleet with them all in it with orders not to break formation? This may keep the fighters in range of the planet, but I haven't tried it yet.

ABGN

Latest news from the southern front.

Today we were given exclusive footage of the holo-cam recording of three actions in the Ashadra system, that’s in the southern sector 02.

The first part shows the callousness of the T’sen who killed 16m of there own people who we had liberated only last month. In a massive attack18 of there frigates hit the lightly defended colony. The few defences the liberated T’sen had on the planet fought back and knocked out 2 of the attacking ships. The pictures are not a pretty sight but we show them to show the methods our enemy will use and there desperation to stop there people being free.

The other holo-pics show the same T’sen fleet being destroyed as they hit one of our well defended colonies in the same system. All 16 frigates are seen being blown apart by our weapons platforms. Although the planet suffers some damage it is still working at 80% efficiency.

We also have footage taken by 4 of our ships as the destroyed 2 enemy frigates elsewhere in the system.

Our defence correspondent says that this shows that our new defensive equipment is working well. Analysis of the pictures show that our ships out gun the enemy easily.

If you want to see the whole footage please log on to our web site ABGN-news-holo-pics.com

In the north east sector 100 fighters hit a solitary freighter blowing it and its aid packages to bits.

Northern command think that it must have been a valiant attempt by some kind Assyrian’s to help the enemy as they have not ordered any ships into that area.
That or the T’sen agents have managed to subvert the crew and give them new orders.

Game question's or may be bug's.

How do you set the order ships go through the WP. I have tried changing the order they are in a fleet but you can not. I have looked at wp movement under the crown. I have reset the order there but it does not seem to change anything.

Any ideas any one.

Second
Ground combat id it broken?
Weapons platforms move around or spin in place. Ground troops do not engage well some do and some do not on both sides. Is it supposed to work this way or is it a bug?

Third
why do the planetary defenses fire on the landing troops in a assault. they seem to fire on evry ship but that one and the troops it is dropping?

Look forward to some answers to these questions.

Query
can the game but units you do not have in a system you have none in and then destroy them in combat?

well it can and does.
again this turn units of mine this time satellites appeared in a enemy system and were destroyed by the defenses.
LAst time it was a ship.

Strange but true.

Second Assyrian Empire 2406 ad

Conference of the general staff and science forum.

Well my commanders what is this years news, better in general than some of the reports I have seen I hope.

“Our King it is much better than we could have hoped for this time last year. We have lost 2 colonies in the pantrissa system in the north east sector, and are still holing on to the last one there. The T’sen have lost 3 colonies 1 they destroyed themselves.
Other than loads of fighters and satellites we have only lost 4 warships in total this year”

How many of there’s have we taken out?

“Well my Lord we are not sure!”

How can you not be sure, surely it’s just a matter of counting?

“Well you would think so but according to our records they have lost 51 ships this year and that can not be right as that’s more than we could build in a year. Yet they still have around 20 in Pantrissa and more in other systems. Someone must be exaggerating somewhere. However all our checks seem to confirm the losses are right?”

Tell be about the fight this month in Pantrissa I hear it was very good.

“Yes our King the T’sen lunched another of there large fleet attacks at our remaining colony. The fleet had 95 battle pods; 1 carrier; 38 frigates; 1 destroyer and 36 grunts. They struck earlier than we expected yet again, they seem to be in a hurry. However after a titanic battle over the planet they withdrew after losing 16 ships; 54 battle pods and 17 grunts. This fleet had a carrier in it and there are at least 2 more in the system, also they now have destroyer sized ships. Not as big or good as ours but they do have them. Our losses were 7 sat’s; 8 fighters; 10 Aritu armoured atmospheric craft; and 1 weapon platform. Unfortunately they are still on the planet, but we are sure that they will be ejected soon, particularly as there fleet has been pushed back.”

That seems a good exchange rate commander’s; you seem to be doing well this year. I am glad to see that our battle stations have proved there worth.

“Yes my King we seem to have done what we wanted in Pantrissa, and used it to destroy the enemy fleet. The assaults in that system have cost them dear and allowed us to build up our forces. The system must be important to them as they have used a lot of effort to take it. While they were doing that we have been colonising new worlds and developing new technologies, which will help us in the long term.”

Admiral Ilu-Mer you have done a good job this year, I am pleased, keep up the good work. You may go.

CaptainBrann, you seem to have been in a hurry typing your questions, and I'm not sure I properly understand it all.

First: The crown menu is the best you can do. I'm not certain, but my impression is that this does work. It might not work on ships in fleets, but I think it works on a mob. Perhaps after warping a mob it might start working on fleets as well - all iffy, but that's all I've got.

Second: Ground Combat has several bugs. For now, we all suffer. I find it helps a little to run in tactical at 1x speed - no more and no less... if that's an option.

Third: You can't shoot the troop pod. You also can't shoot boarding party pods. You can change your targeting priorities to make them shoot at troop ships more frequently. For your purposes I'd recommend making a new custom strat for your Platforms and maybe defense bases.

For this strat, you need to sub something else in place of the "is enemy armed?" part. Troop ships aren't usually armed! Default fires at unarmed ships last.

Also, change closest (absolute) to closest (10 ls increments), or at least 5 ls. The troop ships may not be the closest, but if they get close to being closest this will make them eligible to be targeted. You want to include "type" as high as you think you can get away with, and move the troop ships on up the type list. (The list is meaningless if you don't include "type" as a priority.)

Strats are important, and it's easy to make mistakes with them; but you should still be able to do better than the defaults. Until the next patch, the "retreat when" features won't work properly. Not that WP's have anywhere to go... but a sharp player will probably modify other strats also.

to "Query": Sounds like a bug. I understand multi-player has its own bugset. But if they didn't exist and they got in some licks, sounds like it worked to your benefit, right?

It's a good time to say I'm enjoying this. But I do miss Sargon. I almost hope he was able to escape and defect.

Design Bureau Ashur City

Well Ebdon it looks like our new destroyers and weapon platforms with emissive armour work well.

True Lap-ang even the T’sen mines did not stop them. We did a good job on those designs I just hope that the next generation destroyers are even better.

Yes Ebdon they will need to be as the enemy does not stand still for long, I her they have destroyers as well now. Luckly there armour is still a few generations behind ours and our cannons are much better as well.

Have you heard how the fighting’s going this month Lap?

Yes I heard that in some minor attacks we took out an enemy colony; a ship and 40+ battle pods while losing 2 warships. I also hear that we are slowly winning the ground battle in Pantrissa. The colony destroyed was in a new sector of the southern front which should cause them some concern.

Lap I had also heard that a new enemy fleet of 13 ships has just appeared in the South east sector just after we had cleared them all out.

Never mind Ebdon I also heard that 2 new colonies were planted this month as well so we are still expanding even if we are having to fight this interminable war.

Well that’s teas break over back to work or we will never win this war.

Recommendation for medals report.

Date 2406.3.15
Place Ashadra system warp point.

Recommendations:- that the 4 pilots of fighter group F26 are awarded the Assyrian order of hero.

Reason :-
Pilots Wan-gon; Sar-gon; Ish-kel and Gavi-tyt with no thought for there own safety flew there destroyer class fighters at an enemy of 14 frigates. In the following engagement 6 of the T’sen ships fled, while 2 of the remaining were damaged before these brave men gave up there life force for Ashur.
It appears that the T’sen for all there talk of individual combat would rather take on our men in large numbers, and so we commend these men.

Outcome: - passed. The widows to be given a extra payment and asked to do some publicity work for the space fighter force.

****End Message***

[i]Do you think that these orders will turn the tide on their heavily defended planets, sir?

No, Lieutenant, that is not their intent. It is only a temporary measure until we can come up with a way to get past those defenses. High command has tried all conventional tactics and the best we can accomplish is a pyric victory. If we can hold the line while R&D comes up with something, anything we may eventually make headway.

Are losses really as bad as that sounds?

Sadly, yes, we are barely increasing the size of the fleet at this rate. Many more of these losses and we may start taking net losses.

But the new ships, aren't they turning the tide?

Most of them haven't seen true action yet, with most fronts stalled at the moment. Soon, though, things will change. May the change be in our favor.

“My Lord and King we appear to have stalled the enemy, in the last few months there attacks on our colonies have ceased however the big fleet of 35+ ships in the Pantrissa system hit our colony defences but declined to engage the planetary defences. Unfortunately vice Admiral Arm-gon took it upon himself to engage them anyway and in the ensuring fight he lost his 4 frigates and 4 destroyers all of which had been damaged in earlier fighting along with over 30 fighters. They did manage to take out around 80 enemy fighters and damage a few ships. But it was not a good move on his part. If he had survived he would be facing disciplinary action.
Over than that and a few minor skirmishes, the last few months have been quiet. In the Ashadra southern 2 sector a fleet of 14 enemy ships has appeared and then avoided battle when offered it by our force of 15 ships. They have retreated to there colony there defended by mines. We will just keep an eye on them for the time being.

Our analysts are still confused by the number of enemy ships, they have lost more than us and still have more, and we just can not work out how they are managing it.

The Patrissa system must be very important to them as they are making such efforts to remove us from it. Our experts think that there home system must be near to it. That might account for the number of ships if it is that much closer to there home than it is to ours. It takes us longer to get there and we need ships for system defence in other areas.”

Admiral I want us to push production of our new class of destroyer's, by this time next year I want us to have a fleet of 20 ready for action. With there superior armour, engines and weapons they should help us to strike back through the Pantrissa system. Of course do not forget the required support ships as well.

Thank you Admiral you may go.

Vice admiral Mandaru on the Frigate Victorious Ashadra system S2 sector 2406.6.05

Opp’s I think I have made a mistake.
I was supposed to be guarding the supply ships not engaging 9 enemy ships.
Captain how many men did you recover from the pods?

Not enough Admiral, you were one of the lucky ones.

Not that lucky captain, I expect to be court marshaled for this.
You can not lose 3 ships including your flag and have all your support ships damaged or destroyed and get away with it. I know we got one of them but that will not save my head. Better you space me now at least it will protect your career.

Ok admiral it was an honour to serve with you.

SHhhhhhhhh [sound of air leaving the air lock] thump [sound of airlock opening]

It’s a shame really he was a good man to work for. O’ well he did the honorable thing. Set course for the nearest repair yard and send a message to command.

Report of the event at Ashadra Wp 2406.7.01

Admiral Cleo-patra in charge.

Force 11 destroyers of various marks plus 1 frigate, all damaged from earlier action.
Enemy force 7 frigates and 1 merchant ship.

Outcome
All but 1 of our ships destroyed for the loss of one of there frigates.

Report
As ordered the fleet moved in on the small enemy force holding the wp. However due to malfunctioning holo cameras we have no record of the action. The losses have been reported the funny thing is that we seem to have lost the surviving ship.

Experts think that a strange space phenomenon was encountered along with the enemy, as the result is strange and all traces of our ships have disappeared. Enemy forces seem to have been unaffected by this strange event. We have asked our priest’s to look into this in case it is a case of gods intervening.

Game bug ????
above action

this is not the first time I have been missing a battle replay. however it is the first time ships have gone missing as well. I also think that a bug with the battle occurred as the result seems odd considering the forces involved. my force had light damage to armor so should have been a match for the smaller enemy force.

Never mind eh its all in the fun of playing with a bugged game.

ABGN
News from the northern front.

To day we had our first contact with the colony of Pantrissa I for nearly seven months. Apparently they have at last managed to remove the invading Grunts from the surface after a long and hard fight.
We have been informed that the planet is now working at 100% efficiency.
It looks like the losses we suffered to relive the planet were worth it after all.
Holo pics show a happy populace who are managing to get on with there daily life, they also show pictures of our gallant militia who helped us hold on to the planet.

Three cheers to them we say.

The government have started a relief collection for them and a new force of ships will soon be taking it to them.

At the top of the hour here at ZNN, we have an updated report on the ongoing conflict above the last enemy colony in the Pantrissa system. Earlier reports have been confirmed by upper military command, all planetary defenses have been wiped out. Losses are reported as higher than anticipated. At this point best estimates are about 50% losses from the original 24 combat ships.

Our analysts have gone over the data made publically available at this point. The defensive base (ironically designated Victory by the Assyrians) we positioned within the firing range of planet based defenses; the few remaining orbital platforms (destroyed at heavy cost in previous attacks) were of little resistance to our forces. Even with the intense fire our forces were able to land more troops to attempt to take the planet. This move is the most debated aspect of the assault, another planetary assault of the same real estate that has cost so much already.

There is still a news blackout on operations in the south, a few isolated reports of minor skirmishes but nothing official on anything.

Sounds like a good battle. Would be really good to know exactly what was going on, but that'd give it all away. Good luck guys.

House of Rab Nashi the Pantrissa System assistant governor.
Date 2406.9.21

Message to High command.

My Lords, yet again we have been invaded, more of the T’sen grunts are on our soil. But never fear we will continue to make them pay, another 11 ships were broken on our guns. Unfortunately we must announce the loss of the Space platform Victory, after many years of heavy service it eventually fell to a massive T’sen attack aimed at her only. So far we have destroyed another 10 grunts in battles on the surface and driven off another attempt to land more troops.
My King we will continue to be the anvil on which the T’sen will be broken. So far we believe that in the 2 to 3 years we have been under attack we have taken out the following: - 38 warships; 200+ Battle pods and numerous Grunts. Not bad for 2 planets and a moon with limited resources between them.

Your servant Rab-Nasshi

Place of King Ashur

Message to People of the Pantrissa colony.

Greeting’s loyal subjects, we are all proud of your heroic defence against massive odds. Be assured that your sacrifices are helping in the war effort. Each ship you destroy helps our forces elsewhere and gives us time to build up our forces for a new counter attack.
You are not forgotten and all efforts are being made to send another relief force through to you.
Rest assured you have my undying love and blessings.
Keep up the good work, help is on the way.

Your King and High priest.
Ashur

Sit rep from the Ashadra front. 2406.9.02 - 15

In small skirmishes both sides lost a fighter squadron of around 13 fighters, while the T’sen also lost a frigate. The situation there is coming under control slowly as we hunt down the remains of the enemy incursion force.

Report ends.

Pantrissa report 2407.0

This month the T’sen force of 12 ships retreated rather than engage our colony while on the ground our militia destroyed 3 grunt’s while our workers scrapped the rest using industrial recycling units [seems to be a interesting bug, I was scrapping a damaged unit to make space and hit a grunt by mistake and found it was scrapped so we did them all] these extra resources will allow us to build more defences.

Military report from the Southern front sector 3

In a testing action our new Light cruiser Sargon with an escort took on 2 enemy frigates and destroyed them with slight damage. After battle reports show a few teething troubles which will soon be ironed out.

There bigger size improved weapons mounts and targeting systems as well as the new engines give them a big advantage over all other ships at this time.

We recommend that the class is put into full scale production.

It sure sounds like a very exciting match where you two are throwing a lot at each other. I remember this well from my battle with Java. For some strange reason he always out produced me with sooo many ships.

I really like these series Sticking out tongue I keep reading 'm Sticking out tongue

Heh. You are really forthcomming, captainbrann, to already reveal that you have light cruisers before they reach the front line. (Unless they already did...). I tried to hide all that information for my opponent.

I know how hard it is to fight vs an opponent who has a shorter supply line than you have. (See my game concerning the Melkar syste.m...)

Good hunting to you both!

Communication between General Bruno and the poor Intel staffer assigned to make the call....

How could they just disappear?

Unknown, sir. One moment they were issuing regular updates, the next nothing on their frequency.

Even if their temporary fortifications were overrun they would have been able to get out a message of some sort. There has to be something. Any evidence of nukes, antimatter anything to explain this?

No sir. As far as our sensors can determine at the distance there was a temporary lull in activitiy, both sides were regrouping. No detectable radiologicals, no gamma bursts, no heat plumes, nothing...they just vanished.

Whatever they did it doesn't really matter anyway, remove any observers from the area, we are preparing to implement Operation Ortan-6. No more wasted troops on this dustball, I don't care how much Kemma Khyron wants to take this intact.

Yes sir, good luck.

We have been waiting for this for a long time.
we knew it would come Warlords just can not take being humiliated after all they are bullies.
Being put in there place is just not something they can deal with.

The question is can you take the losses it will take to do this?

Will it be a plague bomb, or burning plasma, or just a grand assault. who knows but we will take it and keep fighting on.

These bugs make for some interesting outcomes. never sure what will work or not.
I suppose its the same for both of us, it makes it more real as in life nothing is certain.

Bunker of Rab Nashi the Pantrissa System assistant governor.
Date 2407.1.05

Today the people celebrate, the sky has been turned a dirty brown colour again.
It is full of radiation and spent shells as well as parts of T’sen ships.
We have repealed two T’sen assaults with a Total of 10 frigates, 1 light cruiser and 2 merchant ships. Our remaining weapons platforms put up such a fight helped by as many of the populace as could get into a jet pack that 10 enemy ships were lost including there new Light cruiser. [Technical note our analysis is that it is not a very good design] unfortunately we lost 7M of our heroic people manly due to radiation poisoning.

The people are so happy at repulsing this attack that they have stopped rioting and are busy repairing the light damage we took.

My King we are waiting for you and will continue to fight hard.

Another stunning defeat for the Zentraedi forces in the Pantrissa campaign.

The small task force maintaining a blockade on the alien occupied planet, Captain Sepab in temporary command, suddenly attacked the planet without orders. The few surviving ships report that the aliens had apparently been sending out mocking broadcasts since the defeat of their orbital defenses recently. Captain Sepab launched his forces at the planet at close range. The remaining planet based defenses were more than a match for his small fleet.

No official word yet on why Sepab attacked the contented planet. Speculation ranges from a drunken stupor to a psychotic break brought on by the mysterious loss of the marines on the alien planet.

Inquiry into the action in Ashadra System Sector south 3.

Situation: - 4 fighter squadrons were defending the wp when an enemy carrier came through.

Report: - as the carrier came through and disgorged its Battle pods squadron leader Tam-gan engaged with his fighters, he and his men died heroically taking an equal number of the enemy with them and damaging the carrier.
The other 3 squadron leaders and there fighters stood still and awaited the enemy. The enemy having dealt with Tam-gan turned and engaged the remaining fighters from the flaks, shooting them up 1 at a time.
Pilot Sem-bige heroically draw off 2 enemy squadrons by himself there by saving some of our force from destruction.

Outcome: - the enemy now has another foothold in the Ashadra system.

Recommendations: - Pilot Sem-bige and Squd leader Tam-gam be given medals for there gallantry. The other leaders to be court marshalled for cowardice in the face of the enemy. This has cost us equipment, men and position.

A dark damp corridor in Babylon city, I am with a street girl as cover while I keep my eye on the building. A big black van draws close, is this it I think. No it goes on past and turns the corner. A while latter another van a smaller green one comes by and this one stops, this must be it. I must control my nerves and not give myself away. Keep talking to the girl and I will just be another punter hanging around.

The 3 men get out of the van and knock on the warehouse door; a fourth person lets them in. The time passes its so cold and unnerving waiting here. Then the door opens again and 3 men come out carrying covered objects. I know what they are even though I can not see them in the dark, plasma generators modified to take out the safety cut-outs. They will be used as bombs to sabotage our ships, I can not let this happen.

Moving my hand carefully I press the hidden alert button, and then I count the seconds hoping that they will not notice that I have pushed the girl away. The seconds pass slowly then after what seems to be minutes but was only 15 seconds I hear them coming.
Within seconds a squad of power troopers surround the area and arrest us all, there is no resistance they know they have had it. I talk to them while we are traveling to the security area. I want to know why they have been arrested and why I was picked up as well. They say that they do not agree with this war and that we should make peace and if the government will not listen, them they will
