Where am I supose to go?!? |

This is strange,
After i've started a new game, created 2 colonizers ships and 2 explorer ships. I had 2 warps in my system and sent the 2 explorers to them... the strange thing is that, after I got to the 2 nearby systems, none of them had another warp!!! The only one avaible in each system was the one that would lead to my home system. In other words: IM TRAPPED! I even cliked on the "explore" button to see what the explorers ships would do, but... nothing, ofcourse they didn't move because they had explored everything they could.
I tried cliking in end turn to see if any other race would make contact but... nothing, no living soul.
I played SEIV and that never ocurred, and this is my first experience in SEV
Is this a bug or am I missing something?
THX

Re: Where am I supose to go?!?
When i start a game, i always press the generate map button, just to make sure it "looks" okay. I have even decided in my most recent game to uncheck the "all warp points connected" option and was able to create 2 groups of large systems. I'm hoping that the game will be interesting at the end of the tech levels. Hopefully I will meet up with 1 other huge empire, but my hopes are pretty low because I don't think the ai is capable of doing that much.

Re: Where am I supose to go?!?
I did that for the Huyok. (The race I'm writing about in the after action reports...) Hopefully they will be able to conquer an Island, then reasearch warp point creation, Then I will have a big war because the AI empires will be HUGE!!!
MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Re: Where am I supose to go?!?
The warp points did not appeared because all the system was in red hexagons, that means, hidden space. As soon as i've started moving the explorers around, all the planets, asteroids and warps were revealled.
This happened because in SEIV, when I arrived to a system everything was shown, but in V we must discover hexagon by hexagon (wich in my believe is a really pain in the ass).
Is there a way of making the all system revealed as soon as we enter it, like in SEIV?
thx
Oh that's easy - you can either do it in Settings.txt or fiddle with the regular options when you start a (non-Quick Start) new game.

Playing Touhou games (Go here if interested . No, nobody else is that good/insane as that replay). No rush for SE V bug fixing.

Re: Where am I supose to go?!?
If you are playing stock, with the normal defaults for a new game (mid-life cluster and all warp points connected), this is probably a rare bug in the map generator; start a new game. If you've fiddled around with the options, this may be normal; some combinations of options are intended to not result in a completely connected galaxy, to require races to research warp point technology (or for "max tech" games where everyone starts with it).
