Multiple components and facilities should be stacked (shown as "DUC x10" or "Mining Fac x 5" etc...)

Project:Space Empires V
Component:Miscellaneous
Category:feature
Priority:normal
Assigned:Unassigned
Status:active

Description

Ships and planets almost always have multiple instances of the same facilities or components. The current display is to show all of them individually. It would be MUCH better to enable us to show a 'short view' in addition to the current 'long view' - like SE4 had.

An option to 'short view' components or facilities would show multiple instances of them as "DUC x10" or "Mining Fac x 5" etc...with the "x10" on the component or fac picture itself in bold and easy to see and read numbers).

thanks

Game pauses when minimized

Submitted by alarikf on Mon, 2006-10-02 05:08.

The game apparently stops all initial processing when it is minimized. I can confirm this at least with game setup (player placement, etc) - it may be the same for other in-game processing. This seems like a bug to me, since in the later game, when turns will take significant time, players will minimize it to allow multitasking (and at other times as well).

Thanks!

Stacked Components

Stacked components would make it easier to see what you have one the planet or ship.
