Resuply base |
How i make deep space resuply bases? i can only resuply on planets?
Re: Resuply base
with the IRM you can put suply and ordinace factorys on bases and have them work like weaker versions of the planet based facility. This is a great help if you have a lot of empty systems and tire of ships limping home on reserve
IRM is for SE V
IRM is an SE V mod. This question is about SE IV.

sorry half asleep when posting did not notice the header not played SEIV in far too long
Re: Resuply base
Yes it is possible to make space stations, or ships for that matter function as a resupply base. I mean work JUST like the ones on planets. I made a component that I added to my Pirates vs. Nomads mod as having only 1 resupply base is annoying. If anybody is interested in the code for this component to add to a mod or just put in their game just ask me. An E-Mail to would be the best way. It is very useful, and yes I did make sure to balance it, there are some major drawbacks to having this on a base such as it is BIG easy to destroy, and expensive. Also by default it can only be put on a base, but that could be changed if somebody wanted it to be.
Re: Resuply base
Doesn't the quantum reactor in SE IV produce infinite supplies ?

Re: Resuply base
In stock, there's a line in Settings.txt that says,
"Bases Can Join Fleets := False"
To make resupply bases, you need to change that to "True". Bases automatically have infinite supplies, so when they join a fleet, they'll share supplies and fill all the ships up.
