supply production during combat? possible? |
I have a idea that would work if there is a way to make a quantum reactor create supplies during combat. Have for a long time wanted to make a battletech mod. And thought of a way to make "heat sinks" out of quantum reactors if they worked in combat. My other thought was to make extreme long range gun with zero damage, but generates supplies when fired. Could use some input.
For those that don't know battletech. All units in battletech from mechs to battleships have heatsinks. When you fire weapons you gain heat. Energy create lots of heat, but use no ammo. While balistic weapons create little heat and use lots of ammo. If the heat gets too high it shuts down the unit. much like being out of supplies in SEV

Haha a battle tech mod would be bad ass =P
Re: supply production during combat? possible?
I dont think so as suply generation apears to be game turn based. It might be posible to mod suplys and ordinace to regenerate in combat time though as it is for armour and shields etc.
Re: supply production during combat? possible?
Try adding a long range weapon that deals one damage and negative supplies. Then give the hulls the emissive ability with a value of one. make combat max range 500 so the weapon fire all the time. Haven't tested weapons that use negative energy but it will at least fire.

Re: supply production during combat? possible?
There is a weapon effect which steals supplies from enemy ships... would that be useful?
