Norak shipset issue |

I am currently using the Norak shipset and it would appear that the cruiser and battleship are mixed up for the purposes of modeling in space combat. All the portraits and other in-game pictures are correct, it just seems to be a 3D issue that manifests itself when one of my fleets attempts to engage in mature adult conversation with an enemy. I tried a no-brain fix of merely switching the names on the models (CRUR and BATT bitmaps, respectively) but that ended up messing with their textures. I then decided to actually do a little investigation and poked around some of the files in the empire directory; as one might expect there are places in a few of the configuration texts that reference the cruiser and battleship models for purposes of firing points and so forth, so these probably would have to be changed as well. What would someone recommend to make things all fine and dandy? A find and replace for the entries in configuration files, file renames, or perhaps something else?
And of course, as a closing query, has anyone else experienced this or am I yet again a victim of some mischief instigated by either my first or second wife?

Re: Norak shipset issue
Well what do you know, they are swapped... I never noticed that before, but then the last time I saw a Norak battleship was in a v1.25 game, so maybe Aaron swapped the models in the 1.33 patch... At the very least, then, swap the Norak_Cruiser.x and Norak_Battleship.x files as well as the CRUR and BATT bitmaps you already tried swapping. As for the firing points, I don't know if those got messed up or not, but those are just cosmetic anyway so it shouldn't make a difference.
