Scripting Help

Ok I'm new to modding and im trying to make a "warp Drive" for a mod and i cant make it work Any tips

i am trying to make it open a warp point go through the warp point and close it automaticly

What exactly are you trying to do?

Are you trying to make a ship have a drive , so it can move to other systems with out using the warp points or a warp point opener? --If so your SOL, has been on the wish list of modders for a long time. The closes we have gotten is the fold space button that has no code associated with it.

The best thing to do is send a politely worded email to Aaron (se5@malfador.com) asking him to implement the code for it.

Hmm, you might see if scripting can help. . . I have not tried any scripting my self so I cant really help you, but I know that scripting can do many things like auto build units and such.

Sorry, that I can't help you any more. You might want to change your Subject line to reflect your problem more accurately. That way some one like Phoenix-D who have been moding SE since around III or so will look at your thread.

If you look around, that concept has been killed more times than you would think. How many times must this be said; warp drive, hyper/subspace jumping, what frigging ever just won't work.
