My game is "skipping" on me |
I recently did a fresh install with SE5 and I have been noticing that my game has been skipping around on me. What I mean by skipping I mean the animations skip, and ships movement skips and combat skips like a DVD with a scratch on it. It seems to come and go like this, a few turns will be fine and then it starts skipping for a few turns then goes back to being fine.
Has anyone else had this happen to them? I dont think its my comp thats causing it.
Specs:
AMD 64 X2 Dual Core 4400+ 2.29GHz
2 Gigs RAM
Nvidia 7800 GTX
Dual 250 Gig HD's in RAID 0

I also have that problem, but a fresh install fixed it the first time. It comes back occasionally now. It doesn't come and go for me, though- when it comes back, it stays on full-time until I reboot. Then its fine.
