Game ended abruptly |

Space Empires V General
I have played several games with a Human player. I have had the Victory conditions set to last man standing and last home planet. 4 times the game has ended saying the human player is dead. I show no points and I coontrol at least a third of the area.
Is there a bug with playing a Human player?
Why else would I havbe this problem?

You accidently surrendered and unless you have a save game from a few turns before the game is over. Continue/reseume existing game is too late and you must start a new game.
