Space Empires V General
Not sure if its normal but in space combat none of my weapons make a sound also their are no sounds of explosions. I had not noticed this before until during ground combat I heard a few explosions, but again I don't hear any weapons. I'm using the newest balance mod but noticed the same thing during a normal game. I hear all the sound effects during strategic play. Is this normal?

If you have your computer rigged for surround sound, then some of the sounds will come out behind you when you zoom in enough.

Try zooming in. The sound effects fade with distance.
