Limit on Troop and Unit Numbers |
Is there possibly a way to increase the limit from the standard 20000? i found the specific reference in the "settings.txt" file and increased it but this didnt make a change to the amount i could have in space while playin in game, still limited to 20000 also i noticed when starting a new game there a game settings tap in which the unit and ship limit could be change but this remained at a lmit of 20000 even after txt file has been modifited is there something i am missing or a mod that could resolve my issue?

I think 20,000 is already far beyond what you need for a big holy war ^^

You can exceed this number when playing. I have had troops numbers in the 50,000 range before. I don't recall what was said when this topic came up but I know I have had way more troops than 20,000 before.

Its 20,000 units in space IIRC; stuff on planets doesn't count.

well if ya ask me there should be no limit on numbers un less spesified to allow for hard limit

20,000 is a hard-coded max.
