Rings around the 'Hole |
So, I am a little ways into my game (1.33, BM 1.05) and I have this Black Hole system right next to my home system. I'd avoided it for most of the game due to damaging Warp Points and gradually built my empire up around it.
I've recently started sending ships through and encountered this. Thought it was... Interesting and thought I would share.

I've seen myself black holes create circling patterns slowly drifting towards the center. Looks like it's unintended (but pretty). An exemple of emergence in videogames!
